My name is Falynn Love Thompson. I'm a proud Rowland Unified parent and Rowland Heights community member for over 20 years! I’m running for RUSD School Board Area 5 because I have a strong, personal desire to serve my community by ensuring our students, and certificated, classified, and administrative personnel have comprehensive support and a real foundation for success.
Choosing to raise our family right here in the community my husband grew up in has been both beautiful and rewarding. As the proud parent of a 2025 Rowland High School graduate and a daughter still navigating through Rowland Unified, I have experienced our district from both perspectives. I've celebrated the milestones, navigated the challenges, and understand firsthand the importance of providing every student with the support and opportunities they need to succeed.
I am not a career politician and have no political aspirations beyond serving my Rowland Heights community right now – this is one of my greatest strengths. My decisions won't have ulterior motives, and my priorities are driven by what's best for our students, teachers, district staff, families, and taxpayers.
